SRC wireless remote control from Schmalz: more energy efficiency with maximum productivity.

Energy efficiency and sustainability with vacuum technology - this motto reflects the mission of the vacuum technology specialist J. Schmalz GmbH, 72293 Glatten, Germany. The new SRC wireless remote control for the Schmalz vacuum tube lifter series proves that energy saving and increased productivity are not mutually exclusive. With the innovative SRC (Schmalz Remote Control) wireless remote control, vacuum generation is activated and controlled as needed using a precise on and off switch function. The new SRC wireless remote control is integrated into the operating unit of the vacuum tube lifter. The tube lifter can be used more quickly and precisely, thereby reducing unproductive downtime and travelling times.

A large, robust push-button is installed for operating the remote control; a glove should also be worn for safe operation. A further practical advantage of the SRC wireless remote control is that the radio signals between the vacuum tube lifter and vacuum generator have a range of up to 30 meters. This means that vacuum tube lifters can also be implemented in crane systems with a large action range. The SRC wireless remote control is based on approved SRD technology (Short Range Distance frequency band 868 MHz).

The complete vacuum tube lifter series can be fitted with the SRC wireless remote control - JumboSprint, JumboErgo and JumboFlex. In the versions that use blowers SB-M, SB-L or SB-V for vacuum generation, JumboSprint and JumboErgo, the transmitter of the wireless remote control is powered by an integrated solar cell. In the JumboFlex, an EVE-25 and EVE-40 vacuum pump is used for vacuum generation; the transmitter of the wireless remote control generates power by means of an induction generator. The wireless integration of the remote control means that workpieces can be rotated continuously with the JumboFlex.

The SRC wireless remote control saves energy in the first place, while any energy that is required is used economically. Workpieces are handled more quickly and efficiently, and the handling process itself becomes more ergonomic. Comparatively low investment costs mean fast amortisation, while the robust technology promises a long service life.
