The application video shows the palletizing of wood in a large sawmill and woodworking company. An industrial robot, equipped with the large-area vacuum gripping system FX from J. Schmalz GmbH, lifts complete layers of individual wooden boards from a conveyor belt and stacks them.

The externally mounted quadruple large-area vacuum gripping system FX of the type FX600x80 is used for the transport of wooden boards or panels of various sizes and in varying positions.
