This application example shows the fully automatic handling of structured furniture parts with varying dimensions with the aid of the large-area vacuum gripping system FX 120/60, which permits the activation and deactivation of specific suction zones.
The flexible, hard-wearing sealing mat ensures damage-free handling of the parts. The presence of parts is monitored with an electronic vacuum sensor, permitting optimisation of the cycle times.
