The vacuum layer gripper SPZ-M-Cool has been designed for the use in refrigerated areas. Thereby it has a lot of properties for this application. Suction mats which are made of special foam, are not suitable for this area.

This is the reason why the SPZ-M-Cool works with suction pads made of natural rubber. They show very high elasticity in the frozen area (the adaptability is always assured). The characteristic properties of this elastomer change only slightly by decreasing temperature.

The SPZM has a assist gripping for stabilize the situation and to increase the mobile speed. The mechanical gripper support is in this case, spindle drives and chain drives procedures because the cylinders are generally limited to temperatures up to -20 ° C. All electrical components and connections are installed in a heated junction box.
