The Jarde Holzbau company provides diverse solutions for the wood industry in the areas of house construction, house add-ons, attic conversions, story additions, and modernization. The wood construction firm is located in Gestratz near Wangen, Germany.

Each day, their production process requires the movement of various types of wood, from simple wooden sheets and beams, to wooden stud partitions used in house construction. In order to ease the strain on the employees who had to lift the heavy, unwieldy workpieces, the company decided to purchase a vacuum lifting device. They also needed to transport wooden beams that were more than 13 meters long.

The vacuum lifting device VacuMaster VHB provided them with one solution that fulfilled all of their requirements. This vacuum lifting device is equipped with two suction plates measuring 550 x 200 mm (length by width). The plates use foam rubber, which enables them to easily lift even moist wood (with saw dust sticking to its surface) horizontally. The vacuum lifting device VacuMaster VHB is suitable for lifting all of the aforementioned wooden workpieces and transporting them to their proper destination. A crane is used to lift and move the load safely. It can move workpieces weighing up to 500 kg. The vacuum lifting device can be operated by only one person. Its electric warning device provides the employee advance warning, even in the event of a power failure.
