Breisgaumilch is a German company group of the dairy processing industry which is located in Freiburg. This cooperative company is characterized by tradition and many years of experience in the dairy processing industry. Each day, up to 600,000 liters of milk are processed for various dairy product lines like “Breisgaumilch”, “Schwarzwälder”, “Schwarzwälder Bioland” and “LAC lactosefrei”.

Their “Tresana” bread spread is produced under the “Schwarzwälder” product line. In order to assure the desired quality and shelf life of the spread, which is packaged in plastic cups, the cups are turned upside down using a pallet rotator. To protect the products from being damaged by the pallet rotator, it is important to clamp a pallet between the pallet rotator and the products. Depositing the pallet used to be very strenuous and particularly bad for the employees’ health, resulting in absences due to sickness.

The vacuum tube lifter JumboErgo 35 fulfilled the main requirement of making the work easier for the employees. This vacuum tube lifter is especially suited for frequent, fast lifting and moving of workpieces. The operating unit on the vacuum tube lifter JumboErgo is equipped with an ergonomic twist grip, similar to the accelerator throttle on a motorcycle. The load is lowered by pressing “Accelerate”, and lifted by pressing “Decelerate”. Safety and ergonomically correct positioning are guaranteed at all work heights. The single suction pad is especially suited for pallets. The vacuum tube lifter is attached to a wall-mounted slewing crane, which is extremely easy to move due to the special bush bearings at the pivot bearing and the use of aluminum crane rails.
