Breisgaumilch is a German company group of the dairy processing industry which is located in Freiburg. This cooperative company is characterized by tradition and many years of experience in the dairy processing industry. Each day, up to 600,000 liters of milk are processed for various dairy product lines like “Breisgaumilch”, “Schwarzwälder”, “Schwarzwälder Bioland” and “LAC lactosefrei”.

The “Breisgaumilch” product line includes the dairy product known as “Schoki.” A mixing pond is used to mix the milk with other substances in order to make the cold cocoa-flavored drink. Sacks of sugar stored on pallets used to be manually lifted and poured into the mixing pond. These sacks, which weigh over 50 kg and measure 600 x 400 x 20 mm, were hard to handle and the work was physically exhausting for the employees. For this reason, it often required two persons to do the work.

The vacuum tube lifter JumboSprint 65 allows accurate and safe control of the sugar sacks. “Pressing” the handle causes the lifting device to lower the load. “Raising” the handle lifts the load. The sack gripper allows to lift sugar sacks which are made of paper easily. The requirements for ergonomics, ease of use, speed and single-person operation are completely fulfilled by the vacuum tube lifter JumboSprint. The work, which sometimes required two employees, can now be done by one person.
Due to the special bush bearings at the pivot bearing, the wall-mounted slewing crane WK which is used, is extremely easy to move. In spite of low room height, the wall-mounted slewing crane guarantees maximum use of the available working area and also provides the required degree of flexibility.
