Eltako is one of the leading companies in the development and distribution of switching devices, power supply units and electronic power meters for building installation and control technology. The company’s production facilities and central warehouse are located in Lossburg near Freudenstadt, Germany.

Until now, the electronic small parts (packed in cardboard boxes) had to be lifted out of transport boxes and placed onto pallets by hand. This process took up a lot of the employees’ time and patience, because it was extremely difficult to get the cardboard boxes out of the transport boxes, which had high outer walls.

The vacuum tube lifter JumboFlex 35 proved to be the ideal solution for quickly moving the cardboard boxes. The holding and lifting operations are achieved solely by vacuum force. This allows a high level of flexibility when working with goods weighing up to 35 kg. In combination with the wall-mounted slewing crane WK, they were able to get the full use of their work area and simplify the work.
