The purchase of a new CNC machining center for cutting metal sheets made it necessary to ease the process of loading the system with sheet metal.
The weight of 200 kg and a format of 2,500 mm x 1,250 mm (length x width) meant that it was only possible to load the system manually using a large number of employees. It was very important for BVS to be able to pick up the sheets without damaging them.

BVS decided to purchase one of the efficient Vacuum Lifting device VacuMaster Basic. The lifting device includes an operator handle that allows the work to be performed easily thanks to the ergonomic arrangement of the operating units. The Vacuum Lifting Device VacuMaster Basic can pick up loads weighing up to 250 kg. It has an audible warning device and a large vacuum reservoir, which provide a high level of safety even if there is a power failure. State-of-the-art vacuum technology is used to hold the sheets so that they are not damaged. The SK column-mounted slewing crane, with a swivel angle of 270°, covers a correspondingly large working area, thus completing the handling system perfectly.
