Handling of Glass plates and Windows with Vacuum Lifting Device VacuMaster Window

Goldbach Kirchner raumconcepte GmbH, a tradition-rich medium-sized company located in Geiselbach, Germany, has become known for offering space solutions in which everyone can feel comfortable: for home, for work and for all realms of life. Goldbach Kirchner is active in the various areas of interior construction such as partitioning walls, wall shelving units, floors, windows and doors.

Goldbach Kirchner uses a glass-cleaning system to clean glass sheets prior to insertion and installation into wooden frames. Up to 150 sheets are cleaned daily with the cleaning system. Previously, two employees were required to handle the glass sheets. A vacuum lifting device is now used to make the process easier and more efficient.

With the vacuum lifting device VacuMaster Window, glass plates weighing 170 kg are easily lifted off the glass trolley and deposited on the cleaning system. Surface scratches are prevented through the use of two SPU suction plates. VacuMaster Window is extremely easy to use, and because it was designed according to the latest ergonomic findings, the work can now be performed without endangering the employees’ health. The glass plates can be rotated 90° to the left and right so that they can be placed onto the cleaning system in the proper position according to their format. Only one employee is required to operate the VacuMaster Window.
