Before owning the Schmalz handling system, employees had to expend a great deal of energy to load and unload furniture parts with different weights (which measured up to 2 x 3 meters (length by width)) at a CNC production center. This unergonomic work usually had to be performed by two employees.



Due to ergonomic, single-hand operation, the combination of the vacuum tube lifter JumboFlex and the column-mounted slewing crane SK allows fast and efficient loading and unloading of the CNC production center. Efficient loading and unloading by only one person reduces personnel costs and is better for the employees' health. The company was particularly impressed by the reduced number of days on which employees were sick due to the use of the vacuum tube lifter significantly and that the device was enthusiastically received by the employees.
