Crane Systems

Because of the favourable relationship of weight to load-bearing capacity, heavy loads can be handled easily. Even load distribution across all load-bearing runners prevents tilting of the cabin, even when something is "hauled sideways". A large work area and varied options for combinations guarantee the highest degree of flexibility. The modular construction permits attachment of a crane system to an existing steel structure or to a customer-specific upper structure.

For a weight of up to 950 kg, the crane systems use aluminium crane rails. This guarantees extreme responsiveness.

  • Maximum load: approx. 950 kg (depending on crane girder's own weight)

  • Weight of smallest crane profile: only 2.9 kg/m

With the intelligent modular design, the following versions are possible, among others:

  • Available as single-, dual-beam and single-rail crane system

  • Several crane girders possible in one crane system

  • Boosting of max. crane girder length by 3rd crane runway

  • Crane girder can be supported between two crane runways to reduce installation height

  • Electric travel drive

Schmalz Rail Aluminium (SRA)

Unique Transport Trolley

  • Excellent low-friction properties in conjunction with aluminium crane rails

  • Maximum load of 950 kg

  • Low-friction, long-lasting rollers


End Plate

  • Section covering on both sides of rail and beam

  • Prevents dirt from entering the rail or beam

  • Can be removed without causing any damage


Cable Trolley (not pictured)

  • For attaching different power supplies (electricity, compressed- air, vacuum)

  • Suitable terminal clamps available in the product range


Fixed/Variable End Stops

  • Prevents the carrying hook from falling out at the end of the section

  • Protects the line trolleys from damage if the load moves

  • Adjustable travel area as a result of variable end stops


Schmalz conductor line SCL

  • Flexible, wireless energy supply for aluminium slewing cranes SK/WK

  • No additional interfering contours when room height is low

  • Installation is fast and easy

  • Highly safe and reliable due to robust construction

  • Complete system from a single source


Hose for vacuum and compressed-air systems VSL

  • Connects the vacuum generator to the vacuum tube lifter Jumbo

  • Hoses lengths of up to 50 meters are possible if a hose with an internal diameter of 60 mm is used(as illustrated)
